In my experience the course was very intense. There was a lot to learn in terms of technical side of weaving. In particular the preparation stage such as calculation of requirements, wining the warp and dressing the loom. In some ways , as a complete novice, I was not prepared for so much detail and complexity.
However having easy access to support mitigated difficulties. At the end, I’m glad to have done this course and will further pursue this wonderful craft!
As a keen and novice weaver I wanted to learn about four shaft weaving from experts, and it was a terrific experience. I started as a complete newby and by the finish had made an extensive sample piece and several woven articles. The teaching was patient, detailed and by experienced professionals and I enjoyed every class. Thank you HWSGV!!
